This is posted downstairs in my building, on the door that leads to the laundry room and recycling bin/trash can area. I think it's strange that the super doesn't get anyone to help with the translation, but hey, it's amusing!
(And I don't mean to offend anyone with this! My boyfriend is hispanic as are many of my friends and most of the people I grew up with. I hope nobody takes this the wrong way!)

Oh my goodness. I don't even know what the translation says. Ha. I took two years of Spanish and didn't learn much, obviously. What are sweepings?

I suppose he means the trash...
ReplyDeleteTrash bags, trash bins. There are at least a handful of lazy people in my building who can't be bothered to use the trash chute or place their garbage bags in the trash cans. Instead they leave them in the hallway that leads to the trash cans! Which is basically right outside the laundry room.
Gross, I know. That's what happens when you live in the Bronx!
